Item type:Publication, Technology and E-Learning as Catalysts for Inclusive Community Development in Social Innovation and EntrepreneurshipThis study explores the impact of emerging technologies and e-learning platforms on inclusive community development, despite significant technological advances, marginalized communities often remain disconnected from the benefits of digitization. The main objective is to assess how e-learning tools can facilitate inclusive development and promote social and economic integration. A mixed methodology combining quantitative and qualitative analysis was employed to assess the impact of e-learning technologies on marginalized communities. The primary endpoint was improved accessibility and quality of education, as measured by student participation and satisfaction. The analysis revealed that 76% of participants experienced a significant improvement in access to educational resources, while 69% reported an increase in satisfaction with the learning opportunities available. However, challenges included the need for more technological infrastructure and training in digital skills. This empowering effect is crucial for community development, as it empowers individuals within their own environments. Together, it was noted that the effective use of ICTs for development is highly dependent on local adaptation of tools and programs, underscoring the importance of personalized and community-based approaches to educational technology implementation. It is concluded that e-learning platforms are effective tools for promoting inclusive community development, especially in marginalized areas. It is essential to address infrastructural and capacity building barriers to maximize their effectiveness. Further research should focus on customized strategies that address the specific needs of different communities to facilitate more effective technological integration, ensuring that the benefits of technological development reach all segments of society. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2026.6 - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

In customer service, AIpowered tools such as chatbots, virtual assistants, and intelligent video call systems-fueled by Natural Language Processing (NLP) and machine learning-offer fast, accurate, and tailored responses that enhance user satisfaction and reduce wait times. From a security and risk management perspective, AI enhances surveillance systems at gastronomic destinations by analyzing real-time data from sensors and cameras. This capability supports early threat detection, the identification of suspicious behaviors, and the implementation of preventive measures, ensuring safer environments for tourists. Moreover, AI enables hyperpersonalized travel experiences through the analysis of large datasets. Predictive analytics and advanced market segmentation allow businesses to provide highly targeted culinary recommendations based on travelers' preferences and behavioral patterns. This strengthens customer loyalty and competitive differentiation. AI not only streamlines operational efficiency within gastronomic tourism but also elevates the quality, personalization, and safety of the services provided. As its adoption continues to grow, AI represents a strategic opportunity to enhance sustainability and innovation in the sector, positioning itself as a cornerstone of modern tourism development. © 2025 IEEE.15 - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Item type:Publication, Cloud Computing Platforms to Improve Shuar Chicham Writing Skills(2024); ;Patricia Marisol Chango-Cañaveral; Washikiat Pedro Tsere-JumaHigher education through virtual environments is centered on the student, oriented towards interactive learning, in situations that are close to the real world, for which teachers require new communicative, non-verbal skills and an innovative approach to learning, which will accompany their students. Students in the complex process of acquiring even more knowledge of a non-native language. In the same context, the use of open-source technology platforms is becoming the best way to deliver solutions that meet the current need for the process of acquiring an ancestral language, so in this document we will focus on the analysis and use of Cloud Computing Tools as an alternative to complementary material to improve writing skills in the process of Second Language Acquisition (SLA) in our case Shuar Chicham. Likewise, teachers should not focus only on online learning but also on interaction with students as Gibson (1993) states; thus, innovative technologies must be means that help reduce the digital technological gap, allowing solutions, answers and agile questions to be given within the teaching-learning process, which is visible with the use of cloud computing tools. Therefore, using cloud computing tools it was proposed to demonstrate if writing skills can be improved in students who learned Shuar Chicham basic.21 - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
