This study highlights mediation as a competent way to approach conflicts related the environment, thus promoting the effective participation of communities to find solutions that respect the environment. This approach helps us resolve disputes, but also helps to provide solutions to clarify conflicts, in this way it also contributes to the restoration of relationships and the creation of a more affordable and impartial justice system in Ecuador, for the benefit of the citizens. Mediation in Ecuador has become a profitable strategy for resolving disputes, especially those that are committed to environmental aspects, thus promoting collaborative and accurate treatment in dialogue.
