Abstract
In the distance learning modality, the communicative interaction between teacher and student, mediated by the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) and a virtual platform for the learning process and the development of academic activities, requires responsible, ethical and honest work. This interaction is based on the use of a vocabulary specific to the field of knowledge so that students, from their everyday vocabulary, do not have communicative limitations that affect the learning results; as limitations it refers to the comprehension difficulties presented by the student’s vocabulary resources and as achievements it refers to the learning results. For this analysis, several elements were reviewed that contrast between the way the classroom is structured by the teacher and the way the student understands this structure and that its development is optimal; the research is mixed of qualitative and quantitative character with a sample of 131 students of fourth, fifth and seventh level of the initial education program; It was based on the study of the level of comprehension and the teacher’s accompaniment. The objective was to analyze the limitations of communication and academic achievements related to cognitive and procedural aspects. The results showed that the quality of the resources contributes to the development of the competencies established in each training project because they facilitate learning through the design of the didactic resources and the student’s comprehensive reading. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024.
